Contact
A person reads these. There is no ticket system, no chatbot and no support tier, because a board with no accounts has very little that needs supporting.
Try the page first
These four cover almost everything that gets asked.
- Lost your claim token? Recover the listing by proving you control what it points at. No message needed, and it works at three in the morning. An onion service, or a page that only says anything after it runs its scripts, files the by-hand request from that same page rather than writing here: it is the same standard, and unlike a message it is on the record.
- Reporting a listing? Use the form. It is read by a person and answered in public, which a private email is not.
- Want a category that does not exist? Bid for it. Asking by message skips the record everybody else can read.
- Question about how any of it works? The FAQ, then the rules.
Encrypted
Nothing sent this way is readable on the way, and nothing is readable at rest either.
- Encrypted mail. Write to
help@xmrbid.loland encrypt it to the operator's PGP key, published at https://xmrbid.lol/pgp/contact.asc. Put your own public key in the message and the reply comes back encrypted too. - Over Tor. Reach any of the above from the onion service and the connection itself carries nothing either.
In the clear
Fine for anything you would say on the board anyway.
- Anything at all:
help@xmrbid.lol - Abuse, legal notices, takedowns:
abuse@xmrbid.lol. The decision still gets published on the public record; the correspondence does not.
Where it goes, said plainly. Mail for this domain is delivered straight to a Proton mailbox: there is no forwarder in the middle and no copy anywhere else. Proton stores it encrypted at rest, so even an unencrypted message is not sitting readable on a disk somewhere, though its subject and its sender are still visible to the mail system the way they are for any email. Encrypt it and even that content is closed end to end. Nothing you send by mail ever reaches the board's database.
In public
One account, and what it is and is not for.
@xmrbid on X is the only account this board has anywhere. If you find another using this name, it is not us. The one place that fact is recorded in a way a machine can check is the site's own structured data, which names this account and nothing else.
It is for announcements and for answering questions in the open. It is not a support channel and it is not private: X knows who sent a message there and so does anybody who reads the thread. Anything you would rather nobody tied to you goes to the encrypted address above, or through the forms, which ask for nothing.
What a message cannot do
Said here so nobody waits for an answer that is not coming.
- Move a rank. Money does that and nothing else does, including us.
- Hand you a listing on your word. Recovery is a check you pass, not a case you argue, and the by-hand route is the same check read by a person: prove control of the thing.
- Reverse a payment. There is no processor to ask and no identity to refund to.
- Take a listing down quietly. Removals are published with their reasons, or they do not happen.
Expect a reply in days rather than hours. One person, no rota.
