Bid for a category

There are 30 rankings and that is close to what a board this size can carry. A new one has to be somewhere several real listings would compete, not one listing looking for an empty room to be first in.

The 30 rankings that already exist. Most proposals are one of these under a different word.

Type it and the board answers before anything is paid.

One per line. They do not have to be yours and nothing is listed by writing them here, they are the evidence that a ranking would have something to rank.

The useful version of this names the closest category and says why it does not fit.

The listing this pays for

A site, an app, a repository, a profile, a channel or an onion service. Query strings are stripped before the link is stored.

Two lines on the board, and all most people will read.

Shown on your listing's own page, where somebody has already decided to look properly. Up to 1500 characters; blank lines start new paragraphs.

Pick the closest existing ranking

A refusal is an answer about the category, not about you. Your bid still lands, in the ranking you pick here. If the category opens, this is ignored and you are in it.

Its address here
xmrbid.lol/@

Your listing's canonical page, and the link worth sharing. First come, first served: claim it with the bid and it is yours. Lowercase letters, numbers and underscores.

Elsewhere (optional)

These appear on your listing's own page. They are links there, not listings of their own, so one project stays one row on the board.

XMR

1 XMR minimum. Paying more does not buy a better answer, but it does buy a higher rank, the same way it would anywhere else on this board.

This board is not taking bids yet: the payment wallet is not connected, so any address it produced would belong to nobody.

Nothing here is a fee. Whatever the answer, this payment is a bid and it buys your listing a rank, so the worst case is that you are on the board in a ranking you chose. The public record shows how it has gone so far: 0 opened, 0 refused.

What the money buys

A decision, published, and nothing else.

  • Not a rank. A category that opens is open to everybody, and whoever bids first gets the cheapest #1 on the board. The proposer has no head start beyond having thought of it.
  • Not a queue position. Paying $463 or ten times that gets the same reading.
  • An answer in public. Every paid proposal appears on the public record with the decision and the reason for it beside it. Nothing is settled in an inbox, because there is no inbox.
  • A receipt. The payment is a Monero transaction like any other on this board, with a signature anyone can check.
